Dividend Increases - CAH, AQN, Telus

On May 9, CAH increased its quarterly dividend from $0.4624 to $0.4763, or 3%. Since I own 139 shares, my yearly dividends increase by $7.73.

On May 10, AQN increased its quarterly dividend from $0.1165 (0.1533 CAD) to $0.1282 (0.1648 CAD), or 10%. Since I own 1,117 shares, my yearly dividends increase by $51.39.

On May 10, Telus increased its quarterly dividend rom $0.505 to $0.525, or 4%. This is the second increase this year. Since I own 403.58 shares, my yearly dividends increase by $32.28.

  1. Those are some nice dividend increases, especially those 10%+ ones. I have CAH and CVS and would like to see more from them in the future. CAH has some near-term headwinds, so I'll take the 3% for now, and CVS has dividend increases frozen pending the Aetna acquisition and de-leveraging that will follow.

    1. In the long run, I think CAH and CVS will do well. I just wish I would have held off buying CAH until recently. If CVS does weel on the integration of Aetna, future increases should be exceptional.
