New Purchase - Deere

Yesterday, Deere increased its quarterly dividend to $0.60 from $0.51, or 17.6%.

With the dividend freeze having come to an end, today I added 55 shares to my position @ $91.18 each ($91.00 + $9.95 commission), for a dividend yield of 2.63%.

Deere is attractively valued, probably because EPS are forecasted to fall over the next two years. But I’m confident that 10, 20 and 30 years out, I will have no regrets having bought today.

I now hold 100 shares of DE with an average price of $87.23.

Previous purchases:

April 15, 2013: 25 shares @ $84.15; initial dividend yield 2.42%

June 24, 2013: 20 shares @ $80.20; initial dividend yield 2.54%

With the dividend increase and my new purchase, my yearly dividend income now stands at $6,221.79.
