Kraft Increases Dividend

On October 1, Kraft increased its quarterly dividend to $0.525 from $0.50, or 5.0%. My YOC is now 4.61%.

The new Kraft started paying a dividend in Q1 of 2013. I was thus expecting a dividend increase in the next quarter.

I have updated my portfolio page to reflect this increase.

As of today, my dividend increases for 2013 are:

  1. I remember the KRFT CEO said he was targeting mid single digit dividend increases. 5% is right on point, awesome that he kept his word! The old KFT was frozen for quite a few years, great to see an increase. Love the KRFT brands!

    1. I was very happy to see the dividend increase only after three quarters. It bodes well for the future - I was keeping a close eye on this one given its recent dividend history.

My household buys so many Kraft products, I wouldn't know where to start. I've even found excellent recipes in their "What's Cooking" magazine! The entire family enjoys the following (use twice the dressing and omit the bacon):
