Saputo Increases Dividend


Today, Saputo increased its dividend from $0.84 to $0.92 per year, or 9.5%. After 5 dividend increases, my yield on cost is now 4.69%.

While I was on vacation, Norfolk Southern increased its dividend a paltry 4%. My yield on cost is now 3.58%.

And finally, shortly after I purchased shares of Reckitt Benckiser, the company increased its 2013 interim dividend by 7% to 60p. My yield on cost is now 3.08% (assuming the final dividend is also increased by 7%).

At the end of 2012, my forward 12-month dividends were $3,598.76. With new purchases and dividend increases, they now stand at $5,096.94.
